Philbert Julai Mdindi is a seasoned marketer with rich experience in marketing Strategy formulation, branding, advertising, product marketing, internal and external communication spanning over a decade. He has practised across different sectors including banking, telecommunications and advertising handling both consumer and B2B marketing. Through his career, Philbert has demonstrated ability to lead big-scale projects including developing and executing the marketing strategy of the globally acclaimed mobile money platform, M-PESA. Currently, he is the Marketing Manager at Barclay Bank of Kenya in charge of Retail Banking and Citizenship. His responsibilities include; strategy formulation, product development and marketing, events management as well as maintaining brand consistency across the bank’s nearly 100 outlets. Philbert is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Marketing Society of Kenya among other professional bodies.
