Joint CEO Spark Media | IAB
Marc du Plessis is joint CEO of SPARK Media. He started his career at NAB in June 2006 as a Key Account Manager, where he managed and drove growth in revenues for a group of portfolios. In June of 2009, he was made Sales Manager and was responsible for the national sales revenues. He was then promoted to General Manager of Dealfinder in 2013 and subsequently, Digital General Manager of NAB in February 2014. In July 2015, when NAB and Habari Media joined to form SPARK Media, Marc was made the Commercial Director for the company and shortly afterwards in July 2016 he became joint CEO. Marc also represents Caxton on the Publisher Portfolio Committee of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) of South Africa.
